Liquid Atelier is a Sydney-based surface studio specialising in bespoke architectural metal finishes.
Working across bronze, brass, steel, patina, Liquid Metal and textural surfaces, we develop finishes individually for interiors, exteriors, furniture and custom architectural application.
Our approach combines craftsmanship, experimentation and an understanding of material. Rather than treating a finish as a simple coating, we develop each surface as part of the character of the project.

We believe the character of a surface comes from its depth, variation and interaction with light. Our finishes are developed by hand, allowing subtle differences in tone, texture and movement to become part of the material itself.
Every project begins with the material and the desired atmosphere, then evolves through sampling and refinement until the right balance is achieved.
